Here’s how it actually works
It runs on 400V and pulls 2500W, and all that power comes out of a 300mm tube. That means fast warm-up and steady temperature control. But with this much heat in a tight space, you do need a power supply that’s up to the job, plus proper cooling in the machine. And the size? It’s a real relief when space is tight. You get the heat you need without having to redesign the whole enclosure.
What’s inside, and why it matters
The core is a shortwave halogen element inside a quartz tube, so it responds quickly and spreads heat evenly. The tube is coated to hold up in rough shop conditions, resisting grime and contamination that can cloud things up and steal performance. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a straight-in, drop-in fit, so you can wire it fast and get the lamp lined up right in the reflector—no fussing, no second-guessing.
The safety feature that’s not optional
Tip-over protection isn’t a marketing extra. If the unit gets knocked out of place, it cuts power immediately. That stops runaway heating and keeps the surrounding parts safe. The upshot? A heater that can take a beating, keeps delivering, and installs with minimal downtime. Just keep one thing in mind: packing 2500W into a small tube means your thermal management has to be ready for it.
